What the SD-BL450 Does
The SD-BL450 is an L-type sealing machine with a heat shrink tunnel. An L-shaped seal bar wraps film around a product and cuts it sealed; the tunnel then shrinks the film tight. It is a general-purpose seal-and-shrink cell, not a tape-only machine. Tape is one of many products it handles. The bar sealer gives a clean, firm seal on a wide range of pack shapes.
Where It Fits on the Line
An L-type sealer sits where a product needs a film wrap before shrink. The SD-BL450 is the seal-and-shrink cell:
Product â SD-BL450 (L-seal + shrink) â case erecting and sealing â palletizing.
For tape lines it commonly follows a single-roll or multi-roll wrapper, or runs the L-seal directly on the roll pack, then shrinks in its own tunnel or a paired SD-4522.
The SD-BL450 pairs with the SD-4522 or SD-4020 tunnel. Swap the tunnel for the economy SD-4020 when budget is the priority.

It seals and shrinks tape rolls, but also daily necessities, fruits and vegetables, beverages, sporting goods, stationery, tea, food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and hardware. Use it when the pack shape varies and you need one sealer across several product lines rather than a dedicated tape wrapper.
SD-BL450 with SD-4522 or SD-4020
The SD-BL450 seals and shrinks in one unit, but the tunnel that does the shrink can be spec’d two ways:
- SD-4522 â energy-saving tunnel: dual frequency conversion, 6 kW stable, insulation cotton fitted, cooler around the machine. Higher cost, lower running bill.
- SD-4020 â economy tunnel: single frequency conversion, 9 kW stable, no insulation cotton, hotter around the machine. Lower cost, higher running bill.
Run the SD-4522 when power cost and floor temperature matter; run the SD-4020 when the purchase price decides. Both mount behind the SD-BL450.
