What the SD-65MB Does
The SD-65MB is a single-roll folding packing machine for electrical tape. It wraps a finished tape roll in shrink film with a paper card, then folds the film into a neat retail pack. It is built for one roll at a time, automatically, and it pairs with a sleeve shrink unit to finish the job. The result is a folded, labeled, shelf-ready roll without an operator hand-folding film at the line.
Where It Fits on the Line
A tape roll leaves the slitting stage as a bare roll. Before it ships it needs film and card protection in a folded pack. The SD-65MB sits at that packaging step, usually as the first unit in a folding-pack line:
Jumbo roll â rewinding and slitting â SD-65MB (fold + paper card) â column sleeve shrink (SD-1060 + SD-4522) â labeling â case erecting and sealing â palletizing.
When your product is PVC electrical insulating tape that ships as a folded single roll, the SD-65MB is the folding cell. Add a SD-4522 or SD-4020 shrink tunnel to complete the fold-and-shrink line.

SD-65MB vs SD-60SS
Both pack a single electrical tape roll, but the pack form differs:
- SD-60SS wraps the roll in shrink film and shrinks it tight around the roll â a rounded, film-only pack. Core size is 38â42 mm (the electrical tape common size), rated 0â65 rolls/min.
- SD-65MB folds the film into a flat retail pack with a paper card â a folded, printed pack. It runs the same electrical tape cores and is the choice when the product needs a folded card face rather than a shrink-only wrap.
Pick by the pack your buyer expects. If they want a folded card pack, the SD-65MB is the machine. If they want a shrink-only wrap, the SD-60SS is the simpler cell.
