What the SD-1060 Does
The SD-1060 is a sleeve film heat shrink packing machine for column packaging. It wraps a whole column of tape rolls â or other round products â in a sleeve of film and shrinks it into one tight, grouped pack. It is the collation cell, not the single-roll wrapper. Paired with a shrink tunnel, it turns loose rolls into a stable column that ships without individual handling.
Where It Fits on the Line
Single rolls are packed and shrunk first; the SD-1060 takes those rolls and groups them into a column pack at the collation step:
Jumbo roll â rewinding and slitting â single-roll pack (SD-65MB or SD-77HM) â SD-1060 (column sleeve film) â shrink tunnel (SD-4522 or SD-4020) â labeling â case erecting and sealing â palletizing.
The SD-1060 is most often sold as the SD-1060 + SD-4522 column shrink line for PVC electrical tape. The same machine also feeds an SD-4020 tunnel when budget is the priority.

Applications
PVC electrical tape column packs and other round products that ship as a grouped sleeve pack. The sleeve format keeps a column of rolls from spreading in the carton and gives the distributor a single unit to handle instead of loose rolls.
SD-1060 with SD-4522 or SD-4020
The SD-1060 only sleeves the film; the shrink happens in the tunnel you pair with it. The tunnel is the same machine name on both options, with different cost and power:
- SD-4522 â energy-saving tunnel: dual frequency conversion, stable running power 6 kW, insulation cotton fitted, cooler around the machine. Higher cost, lower running bill.
- SD-4020 â economy tunnel: single frequency conversion, stable running power 9 kW, no insulation cotton, the area around the machine feels hotter. Lower cost, higher running bill.
Run the SD-4522 when power cost and operator comfort matter; run the SD-4020 when the purchase price is the deciding factor. Both fit the SD-1060 line.
